Two of Céline Dion's Courage Tour dates have, unfortunately, had to be rescheduled. The reason for such, according to a Facebook post on her official page, is "due to common cold." Directly after stating that, they specified that she had tested negative for COVID-19 since this very well could have been where many people's minds went after reading about her symptoms.

The two shows being affected are her upcoming shows in Washington, D.C. and Pittsburgh, PA. These two concerts, which were planned for March 11 and March 13 respectively, have been rescheduled to way later in the year — on November 16 (Washington, D.C.) and 18 (Pittsburgh).

The post tells Céline fans that "on Monday night, a day after completing a six-show run in the New York area, Céline began feeling the symptoms of a common cold. The symptoms persisted into Tuesday, and her doctors instructed her to rest for the next 5-7 days. After testing her, the doctors concluded that her virus was not related to COVID-19."

Below is the post where her need to postpone certain Courage World Tour dates was officially announced to the public.

Céline leaves a personal message within the post saying "I'm so sorry for disappointing my fans in Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh… I hope everyone understands."

Knowing how considerate and supportive Céline fans are, I'm going to guess that they understand entirely and hope only for her to have a healthy recovery — as they previously have.

This is exactly what we here at MTL Blog are wishing for her.

She is expected to begin performing again for her show that is scheduled on March 24 in Denver, CO.

If we know anything about Céline, it's that she is one resilient woman — something she learned from Maman Dion (at least I think so). So I doubt that she will let the common cold keep her from performing for her fans longer than she needs to.

Get well soon, Céline.
