Meet Bluenose, Jefferson, Breton, Mahone, and Vimy. Who is this absolute squad, you may be asking? No, they're not the latest boy band sensation, but the names of the five sharks in the Gulf of the St. Lawrence.

According to OCEARCH, an online database that tracks marine life, the five adult male white sharks are currently keeping cool in waters rather close to Quebec.

Jefferson, Breton, Mahone and Vimy were all last spotted near Îles de la Madeleine.

However, Bluenose is a little further south in PEI. Clearly, he's the independent one.

Bluenose is also the smallest of the five, being 11 ft 7 inches.

Mahone is the big daddy of the group with a height of 13 ft 7 inches.

All of the boys except Bluenose weigh over 1,000 lbs.

Ocearch collects data on sharks, dolphins, seals, turtles, whales and alligators all over the world.

We'll make sure to let you know if they get any closer to our province!
