We've all seen the standard 5K races. You cover yourself in mud, paint, and sweat (obviously) and run for the finish line like a complete and total maniac. It looks like a good time, although it seems like it's only for the most hardcore individuals, as pictured below.\nSo for us average folk, and by that I mean those of use who will do 50 sit ups just so we can eat a bag of Doritos without shame, these races can be a bit daunting. Luckily, Foam Fest 5K had us in mind when creating their obstacle course.\nTrue to their name, Foam Fest 5K does in fact cover you in foam while you run. However, bubble covered fun is not the only draw to their race. There's an obstacle course made up of over 20+ barriers to go through, with everything from a mud crawl to a cargo climb.\nBut the real goal of this race is not to show off how many obstacles you can tackle, or how big your biceps are, but instead, it's a chance to have a good time. "The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the beginning and end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed."\n[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=107&v=-RZG8iWehVg[/embed]\nThe race arrives in Mont Avila, on September 12th.
