7 Museums In Montreal You Can Attend For Free In September

Montreal has a ton of, cultural centers, museums and heritage sites, and vising them all can get pretty pricey.
So if you desperately want to soak up some culture without spending a fortune, you have two choices.

You can wait until next year for Montreal's free museum day, or you can head out to any of these 8 museums that offer some kind of free entrance deal on certain days during the month of September.
Keep in mind, some of these places ask for a "voluntary donation" and they rely on these donations to stay open, so if you can, please show them your support.
1. McCord Museum
Permanent exhibitions are free on Wednesday evenings.

2. Fondation Pour l’Art Contemporain
Admission is free Wednesday to Friday: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm / Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm.
3. Center d'Exposition Université de Montréal
Free admission Tuesday to Saturday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm / Thursdays 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
