A Teen Girl Has Gone Missing In Quebec And Police Are Asking For Public's Help To Find Her
She's been missing since Sunday night.
The Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public's help to locate a 17-year-old girl who went missing over the past weekend.
The girl's name is Marie-Pier Leroux and was last seen wearing the coat seen in the photo above. A close up of the jacket and of Marie-Pier can be seen below.
The Police have said that anyone who sees her should call 911 immediately. However, if you have information about Marie-Pier but have not seen her, you're invited to call the Central Criminal Information of the Sûreté du Québec at 1 800 659-4264.
The photo above shows Marie-Pier, who has brown hair and brown eyes. La Sûreté du Québec also notes that she is 5'3" and about 100 lbs.
Another photo was shared on Facebook that provides a clearer image of her face. You can see the post below, which has been shared nearly 2,000 times.
In addition to the coat, pictured above, the Facebook notes that she would be wearing white Vans-brand running shoes.
The region that La Sûreté du Québec is currently on the lookout is Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, where Marie-Pier lives with her parents.
La Sûreté du Québec notes that Marie-Pier reportedly left her home on Sunday night, May 26th, 2019, and her parents now have reason to believe that her health and safety could be compromised.
Again, if you have any information reach out to the Sûreté du Québec at 1 (800) 659-4264, or call 911 immediately if you believe you've seen Marie-Pier.
The Facebook post above also notes that you can contact Vaudreuil Police at 450-424-1212 to provide any information you may have about Marie-Pier or her whereabouts.
Our hearts go out to her parents who are likely very anxious not knowing where their daughter is, and we hope she's home safe very soon.
