$5,000 Reward To Anyone With Info On Man Who Robbed A Montreal Hospital
From an anonymous donor.
$5000. That’s how much an anonymous donor is offering anyone with information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of a man who allegedly robbed a Montreal hospital.
Eric Demers is the individual in question and a warrant is currently out for his arrest, reports CTV.
According to Montreal police, Demer went into Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital on October 16th, 2017 with an accomplice and forcibly took a bag containing $15,000 from a hospital employee.
A hospital security guard saw what was happening, and when they interfered, the two robbers whipped out handguns and direct them towards the employee and guard.
The two suspects then took off on bicycles. One suspect, Gerard Menard, was arrested quite quickly, but the other, Demers, has yet to be apprehended, hence the reward.
Demers is also connected to a previous robbery at Café Navaro in June, where the sum of $5000 was stolen.
If you have information as to the whereabouts of Demers, investigators are asking individuals to call Info-Crime Montreal (514-393-1133) or make a report online.
Demers is believed to be armed, however, so if he is sighted police are asking individuals to remain cautious, do not approach the suspect, and call the police.
The reward for information on Demers expires on June 13, 2018.
