I hope you guys have all enjoyed the warmth of the last few days, because it's about to come to an end. Environment Canada has issued a frost warning for many parts of Quebec, effective this evening. 

In many regions of Quebec, the mercury is expected to drop below the freezing point tonight.

Sorry to those of you who were planning cute outfits for a date or a night out tonight. Though the temperature in the last few days has been sunny and mild, warm temperatures like the ones from this weekend are not to be expected again for another two weeks.

The frost alert is in effect for the following eight regions: Drummondville, the Eastern Townships, Lachute-Saint-Jérôme, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Montmagny - L'Islet, Pontiac, Québec and Upper Gatineau - Lièvre - Papineau.

In each of these regions, the temperatures are expected to fall below zero. I hope you haven't planted your flowers outside yet...

According to Environment Canada, frost advisories are issued when "temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season." 

In Montreal, temperatures are expected to remain above zero, though the weather is expected to take a plunge. After today, temperatures are not expected to increase above 17 degrees before May 20.
