Extreme Cold Temperatures Are Expected To Stay In Montreal For Another Week

It's been a rough few days in terms of weather in Montreal. Let's just say Mother Nature has not been feeling so kind and generous. Remember two weeks ago when it was plus 5°C in the middle of December?
TL;DR The cold snap is not going to let up anytime soon. The daily temperatures high will only reach as high as - 7°C today, and remain below freezing early this week. Temperatures will drop significantly as the week goes on, dipping all the way down to an extreme low of - 18°C and - 17°C on Saturday and Sunday. With the wind chill that is predicted to feel like - 27°C and - 27°C!
Real winter has finally caught up with us, and an intense cold snap has set into the city bringing along bitter and eyelash freezing temperatures as cold as -20°C and more over the past few days.
According to the most recent predictions on The Weather Network, the cold snap is here to stay for at least another week, and maybe ever more.
Initially, Montreal was predicted to feel some relief by today, but looks like that ain't happening.
