Extreme Fall Weather Warning Alert Is In Effect For Quebec
An "Intense cold front" is on it's way.
Today marks the official last day of summer and the first day of fall. It seems like mother nature got the memo because according to The Weather Network a "dynamic fall storm" is about to "slam" Quebec.
TL;DR The Weather Network has issued a warning for "severe winds" and "intense cold front." for this Friday.
Starting today Montrealers and residents of southern Quebec can expect severe thunderstorms, heavy rains, strong winds, and even isolated tornado threat is active!
Although the storm will eventually pass, and the rest of the weekend looks like it will be sunny and calm, temperatures will remain very fall-like and cool and will not go over 20 degrees all weekend.
However, the fall storm is reportedly going to bring some potentially damaging winds and gusts over 100 km/h.
What does this mean for Montrealers? Well, it's finally going to feel like REAL fall this weekend. As you can see from the weather network, not only is there a "wind warning" but also an "intense cold front" warning.
So get that windbreaker and scarf out because you'll be needing it this weekend.
Despite the arrival of fall, there is still. Although this storm might change your Friday night plans, looks like clear skies for the rest of the weekend is coming, and shouldn't put a damper on any plans.
