After yesterday's coffee cup fiasco, all of here at MTL Blog had a bit of a field day thinking about all the times that Game of Thrones had managed to mess up despite their enormous budget.\nSo I had to take to Twitter to see what kinds of things people had noticed in the past when it comes to serious fails in the Game of Thrones universe.\nTo be honest, it wasn't that hard.\nSo the #GameofThrones talk is about the Starbucks cup on the table how they are getting lax and such. Anyone remember the pickup truck? Lol pic.twitter.com/Dj0RYA0my4— Garn McGaughn (@garnmcgaughn) May 6, 2019\nEveryone remembers the classic truck in the background fail.\nThis, alongside the coffee cup from last Sunday's episode, shows that even the biggest budget shows still managed to overlook things. I'm just surprised that no one saw the damn thing in post-production and thought about Photoshopping it out or something!? Like, this technology must exist.\nBut these two things aren't even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Game of Thrones editing fails. Take a look at the photos below.\nREAD ALSO: A Coffee Cup Was Accidentally Left In A Game Of Thrones Scene And Fans Are Losing It\nWhy King’s Landing looks like it’s in texas in the latest episode tho pic.twitter.com/trqYlozQHh— alice ⎊ | GoT spoilers (@thelionsheir) May 7, 2019\nIt started with the tweet above, where one fan questioned why the landscape around King's Landing all of a sudden looked like a straight-up desert.\nIt didn't take long for more people to notice as well, and the tweet below really shows the incongruities of the clearly CGI'd settings.\nThe many faces of King's Landing... pic.twitter.com/xeGxfgA5z3— [ TRAVIS ] (@wannlund) May 7, 2019\nWait what happened to King’s Landing? pic.twitter.com/EjqRmn4lLw— Jack Posobiec 🇺🇸 (@JackPosobiec) May 7, 2019\nHow can one place look so different from one shot to the next? Unless this is some kind of environmentalism subplot none of us are picking up on?\nREAD ALSO: Game Of Thrones Finally Responds To Coffee Cup Left In Scene Last Episode\nOther things I now hate about #GameOfThrones, the TV series:- Bringing back Bronn and that arc involving a bow & Lannister brothers.- They literally changed the geography in the intro. King's Landing is so near God's Eye now!- THE TYRION TURNAROUND. Why is he suddenly stupid? pic.twitter.com/fUM45BPTw3— FKA highreaching (@MarchingHere) May 7, 2019\nIt looks like they even took the time to change the geography in the intro map.\nHonestly, at this point, it feels like the creators are just rushing to get it done and over with, which is such a waste of a final season for such a beloved show.\nHopefully, this is the last of the GoT fails we notice... but if anything else comes up, y'all know we'll be writing about.
