IKEA Actually Serves Poutine At These 3 Locations In Canada
This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill.
I know that many of you are in the process of moving out of your apartment if you're finishing up your semester at school, and many others are moving later this summer. This means that you've probably got a trip to IKEA scheduled in the next few months.
Next time you go, you have to make a stop at their cafeteria. Why? Because we've been sleeping on some amazing information: IKEA serves poutine.
TL;DR IKEA Canada serves poutine in Boucherville, Québec City, and Winnipeg and we want to try it ASAP.
Montreal Instagram star @fleurmaison posted a photo of a promotional poster for the poutine on their story, according to le Journal de Montréal. The poster presents the poutine as a new menu item. The photo was taken at the IKEA in Boucherville, located on Montreal's South Shore.
We reached out to an IKEA representative who told us that, in fact, the poutine is available only in Winnipeg, Québec City, and Boucherville. According to evidence gathered from social media, the poutine has been available at some locations in Canada for at least four years.
The poutine only costs $4.99, which is the low, low price we've come to expect from IKEA.
The poutine is a classic made of fries, gravy, and cheese curds. Some people have been customizing their poutine with meatballs.

IKEA is well-known for its cheap hotdogs and delicious meatballs. Will the poutine become the next IKEA menu staple? Will it one day reach menus of other IKEA locations in Canada? We can only hope.
