How much do we all love the Plateau area in Montreal?\nI don't live on the Plateau, and I never have - but I still absolutely love heading up that way for a little shopping, R&R on Mount-Royal, or hitting up brunch spots and bars with friends and family visiting in town.\nI mean, the Plateau really does have a bit of everything - if you count out the Canal, that is. I love down there and I will never, ever leave.\nREAD ALSO: Montreal's "Spiderman" Firefighters Rescue Man Who Almost Died On Mount Royal\nMostly, though, I just love to hit up the Plateau to shop at all the unique stores we don't have so concentrated in most Montreal neighbourhoods.\nWell, colour me excited because Montreal's Mont-Royal Avenue is going to be transformed into a massive side-walk sale this month!\nFor four days, Mont-Royal Ave. will be closed off to cars and traffic, and all the cool shops will roll-out to the streets for a big old-fashioned block party and sale!\nOver 2 km long, the store hours will be extended until 11 p.m. to give you all the time you need to explore and buy up some cool swag.\nThere will also be giant inflatables, a small train, creative makeup, artistic and miniature golf happening along the street fair!\nIf that wasn't enough, you will also be able to "Make Your Own Emoji" and you can have the chance to win your own customized bobble-head! I'm sure you can buy one, too, if you're not the winning type.\nDJs will be on hand in the lounge area near Saint-Denis, as well.
