The Montreal heatwave seems to have finally come to an end, but tragically at least 33 have died from the record breaking temperatures.

This heatwave has actually killed as many people in Quebec as the infamous 1998 Ice Storm! In fact, this is so unprecedented that the Montreal Morgue is overflowing.

Luckily, the heat and humidity came back to normal over the weekend which means Environment Canada has lifted the heat warnings that were in effect for the area. But that doesn't mean we're out of the woods just yet.

During the next 5 days, temperatures in Montreal will back to normal between 25°C and 32°C.  Unfortunately, starting Saturday things are slowly going to start heating up once again.

On Sunday it's going to feel like 37°C in Montreal with the humidity, and on Monday it's going to feel like 41°C!

The following week will be pretty hot, but not dangerously hot like it was last week. Hopefully this will be the last heatwave we'll see until the end of the summer and no one else will fall victim to the killer heat.
