Montreal Is Hosting Its First-Ever Coffee Festival
Caffeine addicts, rejoice!
Alright coffee enthusiasts, I know Montreal has what seems like an endless supply of food festivals and events, which are great, but this up and coming one is just for you lovers of the bean. On September 7, the first annual East Coast Coffee Madness will be taking place right here in Montreal, bringing together the city's coffee community for one day of workshops, speakers and a little friendly competition. Being an unashamed coffee addict myself, nothing has ever sounded more brewtiful.
The ECCM is the perfect place to learn about coffee, discover new products and even make some connections with other coffee lovers. The legendary George Howell, specialty coffee pioneer and founder of the George Howell Coffee Company, will be the headlining speaker of the event. The festival will run from 9am to 11pm, and will be finished off with a big closing party with music and a BBQ.
Tickets for this event are $40 and include participation in all activities and workshops, food, and of course lots and lots of coffee. For another $20, you can participate in the big coffee competition, so start brushing up of your skills!
