Montreal Is Hosting The Largest Twin Gathering In Canada
Contests, parades, carnival rides and more.
Montreal hosts a number of parades throughout the year, from Saint Patrick's Day to Canada Day, but none are quite as strange or unique as the annual Twin Parade. Back again this Saturday July 18 in conjunction with Just For Laughs, the Twin Parade will show off hundreds of sets of twins, triplets, and even quadruplets, marching through the streets of Montreal.
The parade is kicking off at 4pm on the corner of Jeanne-Mance and Maisonneuve and will be making it's way down Sainte Catherine. It's open to anyone and everyone, and this year's theme is "Funny As Hell," which we're sure will only make things even more interesting.
What's even better is that the festivities won't stop when the parade is done - there'll be contests, carnival rides, games and shows all day long in honour of these genetic clones. So whether you have a twin or not, this is sure to be a great day of free fun.
