Just when you thought all the major roadblocks had subsided since F1 has come, and gone... well, you have another thing coming.\nJust cause the festival season has slowed somewhat this weekend, don't think for a second that it means Montreal roads have gotten easier. It still is, after all, our second longest season after winter - Construction!\nWeekends in Montreal are for fun, for parties, for going out and experiencing some of our eclectic cultures - but most of all, they're for staying off the roads!\nREAD ALSO: Montreal's New Animal Control Bylaws Will See Dangerous Dogs Euthanized\nAs usual, this weekend in Montreal many roads will be closed throughout the city because of continued construction.\nThe Turcot Interchange is the main culprit here and will be closed again at some major entry points.\nTo make matters worse, a Sunday bike ride will see the Jacques Cartier Bridge closed as well, and work on an overpass in the West Island will see Highways 40 and 13 added to the list of driving frustrations.\nVia turcot.transports.gouv.qc.\nThese ramps and highways will be closed as of 11:59 p.m. Friday - 5:00 a.m, Monday:\nHighway 15 North to Highway 20 West\nHighway 15 South to Highway 20 West\nHighway 20 East to Highway 15 North\nHighway 20 East to Route 136 (New Ville Marie)\nRoute 136 West to Highway 20\nHighway 20 West between the Turcot Interchange and the Ste-Anne-Bellevue Blvd. entrance\n\nHighway 13 and Highway 40\nCrews will continue working on the overpass around Highways 40 and 13, and they will be close off the 40 East between Highway 13 (Exit 60) and the following entrance from 11:59 P.M. Friday to 5:00 A.M. Monday.\nThe ramp from Highway 13 South towards Highway 40 East will also be off limits for the entire weekend.\nVia transports.gouv.qc\n\nRoute 132/Champlain Bridge\nRoute 132, running underneath the Champlain Bridge, will be closed in both directions all weekend long as of 10:00 p.m. Friday night. Additionally, two of three lanes on the Champlain Bridge will be closed during overnight hours this weekend. \nBonaventure Expressway\nOn the eastbound side, the closure will be between Exit 4 and Nuns’ Island. Vehicles on the westbound side of Highway 10 will be forced off at Exit 2 from 10:00 P.M. Friday until Monday at 5:00 A.M.\nJacques Cartier Bridge\nThe Grand défi Pierre Lavoie will bring thousands of cyclists across the Bridge on Sunday, forcing its complete closure from 2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.\nMercier Bridge\nMotorists on the eastbound 138 will not be able to access the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge overnight Friday into Saturday.\nYou can find more information on all the current road closures in Montreal right here.
