Right now, there are many local Montreal businesses and individuals that are doing their part to help out doctors and nurses around the city. And we believe their generous deeds shouldn't go unnoticed! See our list of local heroes below. Visit MTLBlog for more headlines. Some people choose to bring light into dark situations. In our city, there's currently a ton of companies stepping up and giving back their communities. So many local Montreal businesses and individuals are doing what they can to help out frontline workers right now — especially those in the medical field. Certain locals have taken their workout talents and shared live training sessions on Instagram, other at-home cooks are giving recipes and cooking classes online, and while others have used their time to provide donations to health care workers. One business that is truly stepping up is @SundaeCreativeAgency, which is run by Kristina Argento and Karine Idrissi. Their agency believes in "building leading-edge integrated communication strategies to elevate brands to their highest potential." Together, along with their clients and team, they have brought donations, including food, masks, and gloves, to various hospitals throughout the city. Among others, we've found restaurants offering meals to doctors and nurses who work long hours trying to keep Montrealers safe. It's because of people and companies like the following that truly make me more proud to be from an amazing city like Montreal. Not all heroes wear capes, some do donations! Fiorellino Snack Bar View this post on Instagram Last week we delivered over 700 meals at various Hospitals. This week started off with a 100 meal donation at the Jewish General epicentre of the Covid-19 crisis. Whenever we deliver, we meet new doctors and nurses at the front line of the pandemic. With so few restaurants open, often these incredible people go 12 hours without eating, as they race from one bed to another to help those most in need. Through the support of some incredible friends of Fiorellino, we’ve been able to keep the program going and our team employed. A lot of friends have asked how they can support, for anyone who would like to contribute all you need to do is to reach out to @fiorellinosnackbar and we will continue to feed our health heroes. 100% of funds will go to the production of hospital meals, which we run out of the DLG Fiorellino kitchen. Thank you for your support, and allowing us to provide such fundamental nourishment to those working tirelessly on the front line during these crazy times ❤️❤️❤️ A post shared by Fiorellino (@fiorellinosnackbar) on Apr 20, 2020 at 4:05pm PDT The owners of Fiorellino Snack Bar have taken it upon themselves to help feed hospital workers who are currently working endless hours to help keep our community safe.
