- But guess what? We're in for a Second Summer here in the city, as temperatures are expected to feel like 30°C.
- Take a look at the forecast below. 👇
If you're someone who has been lamentingthis past couple of weeks, then boy, do I have good news for you.
Starting tomorrow, we are officially in Second Summer mode, with temperatures forecasted to soar into the twenties and the humidex adding to the heat.
In fact, according to The Weather Network, it's going to feel like 30°C tomorrow in Montreal and this weekend we're going to feel temperatures as high as 27°C.
We discussed the often-named "Indian Summer" in the office and decided perhaps the better, less colonial term would be Summer Encore, or Second Summer, as a hobbit might say.
Whatever you want to call it, it's here, and it's time to enjoy it.
In fact, it's not just this week that is going to have us prancing around in our pre-fall attire. Next week, too, is expected to bring some beautifully balmy weather with more days feeling like 27°C.
Take a look at the two-week forecast below and get ready to make the most of this last-ditch summer stretch.
Here's the forecast for this week, which you can see has two days of muggy humid warmth accompanied by some rain, on Wednesday and Saturday.
Though the days in between are perhaps what you would call seasonally average, from Sunday onwards we're looking at some real summery stuff.
The beginning of next week is going to be straight-up beautiful, with Monday feeling like 24°C and Tuesday climbing even higher still with a "Feels like" of 28°C.
The warmth won't end there, though, as more rain invites more muggy heat next Wednesday when temperatures are forecasted to feel as high as 29°C.
The end of next week looks straight-up stunning, too, and even as the weekend cools off a little bit we'll still have sun and low 20°C temperature to look forward to.
That really is the perfect temperature for a hike or a bike ride, and this is the time to get it in before it gets too chilly to do this stuff without being totally bundled up.
So while you may not be able to swim one last time, I'm certain it will be warm enough to at least lay out in the sun... so give that summer tan one last bake before fall is fully upon us and make the most of this itty bitty Second Summer.
