While summer was slow to start in the Montreal area this year, there's no question that the heat has arrived. We're sitting around 30°C today and it's going to be a sunny one, meaning if you're out and about, you're going to want sunscreen and something to keep you hydrated.\nBut when it comes to this Friday, I honestly don't know what kind of advice I can even give... because it's going to feel like 39°C in Montreal this Friday.\nYes, you read that correctly, and yes I have typed it correctly as well.\nDon't believe me? Scroll down.\nHere is the weekly forecast for the rest of the week here in Montreal, according to The Weather Network.\nYou can see that Friday's temperature is forecasted to be 31°C, but also take a look at the number below.\nThe Weather Network\nThe "Feels like," column takes into account things like windchill in the winter or humidity in the summer, to give a better indication of what the day will actually feel like.\nAnd in this case, apparently, we're all going to feel like a bunch of hot dogs on Friday, because it's going to feel like 39°C in Montreal.\nLast year, up to 70 deaths were blamed on the extreme heatwave that Quebec faced near the end of the summer. With extreme heat like this, it's important to keep in mind people you know who live alone and are considered vulnerable.\nLuckily it looks like things are going to settle down in the temperature department starting after the rain on Saturday.
