"The Société du parc Jean-Drapeau aims to offer a top-notch water quality for its visitors and we are working on restoring the situation to normal as quickly as possible," the statement continues.\nThere is no indication as to when the beach might reopen.\nWe called the customer service line for Jean-Doré Beach for more details. An employee told us that the change in water quality may be due to the heavy rainfall on July 12th. Last week, a sewage leak forced the temporary closure of Oka Beach on the Lac des Deux Montagnes. The beach has since reopened.\nThe infamous delay of the opening of the new Verdun Beach was also due to unsafe water conditions, likely due to sewage.\nThe Jean-Doré Beach is on the Lac de l'Île Notre Dame.\nGoogle Maps\nIt is also home to the Aquazilla floating obstacle course.
