In partnership with the Laval Rocket, Evenko, and Équipe Spectra, the Montreal Canadiens have launched a contest and auction to raise money for frontline health care workers. The Rise Together initiative has some awesome prizes up for grabs. All proceeds will go to Centraide of Montreal's COVID-19 Emergency Fund, which will respond to emergency food needs for health care workers and the most vulnerable. With both contests and auctions, all Habs fans over 18 years old are invited to participate in this initiative which will help the people most affected by COVID-19 in Montreal. The fundraiser is open until May 19, 2020, and new prizes and experiences will be regularly added. "We are extremely proud to introduce this initiative, which will benefit members of our community who have been most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic," said France Margaret Bélanger, Chief Commercial Officer at Groupe CH. Many of the auctions are for once-in-a-lifetime experiences including "glamping" on centre ice, flying with the team on a road game, dropping the puck at a Laval Rocket game, being in the Canadiens' team photo, and much more. "As a leader in the sports and entertainment industry, our organization is working to turn unique experiences and prizes into a way for our community to rally together to combat the effects of COVID-19," said Bélanger.
