The photo appears to show a botched paint job. Indeed, it seems like constrcution workers painted road demarcations over a lone hubcap instead of moving.\nThe photo, submitted by Michael Marchetta, was taken by Mike Poli on ave. Dr. Penfield, just past rue University, says Michael.\nThough the circumstances of the paint job are unclear and we don't know whether these road demarcations are permanent or temporary, the result is a tragically typical Montreal image.\nEven the most hardened Montrealers have their breaking points when it comes to endless construction mishaps. I think this is mine. I'm not sure whether this photo makes me want to laugh or cry.\nSure, I can deal with endless detours, months-long construction work and all of the other inconveniences that come along with construction.\nHowever, I would expect that, since road work often takes so long, the work would be done correctly. Or, at the very least, debris the size of a pizza would be removed so that the paint lines could be drawn on properly.\nMike Poli\nThis is not the only time that Montreal construction has made headlines this week.
