It's finally July — and it feels like it! The first major summer heat wave is upon us, but that's not stopping Montrealers from getting out and enjoying the warmth, even if it's extreme, while it lasts. It's picnic season, no matter the weather. To take advantage of this enthusiasm for outdoor dining, several food festivals have begun to annouce their 2019 summer programs. From Cuban BBQ to Indian food, Montrealers will have ample opportunity to enjoy some festival food in the sun this year. Of course, one of the most anticipated annual events is the RibFest. With "live Music, local vendors," and "6 professional ribbers" serving all kinds of savoury BBQ goodness, the festival is one of the most exciting events of the season. The best part: admission to the RibFest is FREE.
