The Service de la police de Montreal is offering a reward for help identifying two suspects that are linked to a home invasion that happened in Montreal last month.

The two men involved were pretending to be pizza delivery men when approached a woman's house. As she opened the door the men forcefully entered her home, attacked her and then fled.

The home invasion occurred in Montreal's east end on July 18th at approximately 7:45 p.m.

The SPVM is offering up to $5,000 for information related to the incident, which will lead to the arrest and conviction of the wanted suspects. This information can be given anonymously via Info-Crime Montreal or by calling 911 directly.

Currently, the SPVM only has a rendering of the one suspect, who was heard speaking French.

The SPVM will be canvassing the area later today to speak with community members and hopefully garner some new information about the crime and the wanted suspects.

Below is a tweet sent out by the SPVM which includes a rendering of the 1st suspect and notes the reward and contact information.

Below is a map of the area where the home invasion took place. The police did not provide the address of the victim's home for obvious security reasons.

The SPVM does note, however, that the suspects fled to Dubuisson Street by the Annie-Pelletier pool, which can be seen on the right side of the map above.

The SPVM will also be holding a "mobile command post" this evening at 510 Joffre at the corner of Notre-Dame near Parc Clément-Jetté Nord between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

They are encouraging any and all information be brought forward. You can also provide any knowledge you have about these wanted suspects by calling Info-Crime at 514-393-1133 or contacting the police directing at 911.

While there's no reward mentioned with this crime... wouldn't it be nice to catch these a-holes who think it's cool to just dump trash wherever they want?

If you've got information about the trashy truck drivers in Laval, contact the Info-Line anonymously at 450-662-INFO (4636).
