A press release from the Montreal police on December 7 tells the public that they "arrested a gun trafficker in a Montréal suburb last week."

"A total of 89 firearms were seized, as well as several chargers and ammunition, pellet and air guns and prohibited crossbows."

Yvon Nolet, 75 years old, and his partner, were arrested at their private home.

We're told that Nolet is "now facing various charges in the Sorel judicial district."

The weapons that are found in the SPVM's photo above were allegedly stored behind a bookcase in Noulet's basement.

Beyond the firearms, ammo, and pellets that ended up being seized, $31,000 in cash was supposedly also found.
