Montreal's Entire Orange Line Has Been Shut Down, Here's Why
Service disruptions are planned for the next hour.
The STM just announced that the entire orange line has been shut down for at least an hour. The shutdown affects all stations in both directions on the orange line, from Côte-Vertu to Montmorency.
The STM has explained that the shutdown is due to a medical emergency. Service is not expected to resume until at least 10:10 p.m.
The STM published the tweet below a few minutes ago.
The Tweet reads "interruption on the ORANGE line between Côte-Vertu to Montmorency. emergency medical services. Service is expected to return around 10:10."

This is not the first time that the STM has had trouble in the last week. A few days ago, Papineau station had to be emergency evacuated because of a problem with the ceiling's structure.
