Summer is finally in full swing in Montreal (despite the cool, rainy weather). The arrival of la Saint Jean-Baptiste means that the city is in festival mode. The back-to-back long weekends of la Fête Nationale and Canada Day present an opportunity for Quebec residents to make the most of the peak of the season of celebration.

For these special occasions, Montreal's La Ronde amusement park is offering a discount that will be difficult to resist. Between now and Sunday, June 30th, Montrealers can take advantage of a rare Buy 1 Get One Free ticket sale!

The BOGO sale actually marks the end of school and the beginning of summer vacation, but there's nothing to stop Montrealers of all ages from capitalizing on this offer. For the price of one regular day pass ($71.99), you can double the fun with a friend, sibling, summer lover, or significant other.

"Buy one regular priced daily ticket and get one free! This offer is valid for online purchases only," the La Ronde website explains. Regular daily ticket restrictions apply, as well: each pass is only "valid for one visit to the park on the day of your choice."

This BOGO sale will make a visit to La Ronde all the more thrilling — nothing is more fun than free access. While you're there, be sure to check out the park's newest roller coaster. The Chaos ride "offers a pure adrenaline rush as riders go forward, backward and upside down for unprecedented hang-time."

Montrealers may also still purchase season passes if they don't want the fun to end. Right now, a purchase of 2 or more season passes unlocks a bundle of special benfits, including a free upgrade to the Gold pass, free parking, and unlimited visits.
