• Day passes for Osheaga 2020 have just dropped, meaning now is the time to buy your tickets if you plan to take in this year's festival.
  • Though don't be surprised to find that ticket prices are up from last year.

Day passes for Osheaga just dropped and so might your jaw. You better start saving because they're more expensive than last year or ever before! At almost $20 more, the Osheaga 2020 festival-goers better hope there will be $20 more of cool things to do.  Last year, regular day passes were a paltry $125, with gold VIP passes at $235. This year, a regular day pass is a whopping $142.50, with gold VIP passes at $243.50.

The good news is that there does indeed seem to be worth the money this year as all three days of the festival look to be incredible. With headliners like Foo Fighters, Lizzo, and Kendrick Lamar, Osheaga 2020 is going to be huge.

Along with incredible headliners, this year's edition will be the second Osheaga back in the new and improved Parc Jean-Drapeau. Espace 67 is a cutting-edge festival space that's tailor-made to host large events.

This year's Osheaga has a distinct back-to-classics vibe as the festival lineup is full of indie-rock darlings (Vampire Weekend), nostalgic throwbacks (Third Eye Blind), and plenty of hip-hop, both mainstream (French Montana) and alternative (Brockhampton).

Personally, I haven't been this stoked for an Osheaga lineup since 2010 when Weezer and Arcade Fire headlined (yes, I'm old).

It seems that the DJ days of Osheaga are over and considering how many electronic music festivals we have in Montreal, that's a good thing.

The complete lineup (seen below) is sure to make a lot of people happy.

Indie-rock fans specifically are spoiled for choice at this year's festival.

It'll be hard to decide which day to attend as every single day has multiple can't-miss up and coming and established artists.

With all its amazing bands and a giant new festival space, maybe spending that extra $20 bucks on an Osheaga day pass won't hurt so much, after all!

If you can't pick just one day, remember there's always the weekend pass!

A regular three-day pass will run you $333.50, a gold VIP pass will cost you $608.50, and a platinum VIP pass will cost you $1258.50.

Start saving up and banking those work hours, folks because this year's Osheaga is looking to be one of the best ever!
