The Montreal metro orange line is shut down for the next while between Côte-Vertu and Berri-UQAM stations, according to a tweet from the STM.


UPDATE: Normal service has resumed as of 11:33 a.m.


Due to an intervention by emergency medical services, the metro was stopped at around 10:40 am on Wednesday morning.

Service is expected to resume at 11:40 a.m.

This marks the second service delay since Sunday when a shutdown affected parts of the green line. 

The STM has established a special bus service along the shutdown route.
