A photo posted to a local Facebook group showing Pennywise on the streets of Montreal has gone viral. It turns out that the clown was offering boxes of poutine to people in need. Pennywise, the terrifying clown from the movie It has been spotted in Montreal and we have a picture to prove it. A Montrealer snapped a photo of the creature in the Hochelaga area and posted it to the Facebook group Hochelaga Mon Quartier, where the post went viral.In a little less than 24 hours, the photo received hundreds of comments and was shared over 500 times. Montrealers don't agree on everything but everyone seemed to agree that this photo is this is straight-up scary. Bauby runs Alinéa productions, a Montreal based event company that has decided to turn your nightmares into a very harsh reality. Bauby told MTL Blog that Pennywise went around the city offering poutine to homeless people. The sweet gesture is still slightly petrifying because let's face it, no one wants to come face to face with this disturbing clown. But I mean if there is poutine involved, I would consider it.
