The Canadian pharmacy giant is offering free access to an app-based mental health program for all Quebecers. The company has partnered with SilverCloud Health, an award-winning digital mental health resources used by over 350,000 people.\nSilverCloud's stress management program aims to assist people who are dealing with self-isolation-related anxieties.\nFree until June 15, Pharmaprix has taken on all associated costs of the program.\n"Our raison d'être is to help Canadians live well, to live fully, and it has never been more important than today," said Jeff Leger, president at Pharmaprix.\nThe SilverCloud program is based on more than 17 years of clinical research at the world's leading academic institutions, according to a press release.\nCovering a range of mental health needs, SilverCloud matches users to a tailored program based on their own input.\n"This program is designed to manage stress through modern approaches," said Leger.\n"We hope that this program will provide some peace of mind to people while providing them and the health system with some support at a time when both are severely affected."\nUsers will have access to an array of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and mindfulness programs to help them cope with stress related to the ongoing health crisis.\nIf you sign up, you'll have access to eight modules that will help you modify negative thinking behaviours.\nThe program was designed in collaboration with mental health experts and consists of texts, videos, audio, and interactive activities.\n"We are committed to providing effective mental health support to people in need, across Canada and elsewhere, during this unprecedented global crisis," said Ken Cahill, CEO of SilverCloud.\nRemembering to take time out to look after yourself can be difficult during this time of stress and uncertainty.
