This Saturday marked one week of a four-week long Quebec curfew, starting at 8 p.m. every night. Like many other decisions made by the government over the last ten months, locals have mixed opinions on the new rule. On January 16, protesters took to the streets to voice their opinions against the CAQ's decision going into its second week. Protests continue to be permitted during this time, however, they must not be held during curfew hours, as the SPVM told MTL Blog.
