Quebec's National Parks Are Offering Free Admission Next Week
Special gifts are also included!
It may not seem like the time of year when you'd want to spend hours outdoors, but the truth is that Quebec is perhaps its most beautiful during the snowy months. Winter views and landscapes in the province's national parks are among the most stunning in Canada. Winter is also light on tourists, so you may even get an entire area to yourself!
TL;DR Sépaq is offering free admission to Quebec's national parks on January 26, 2019. Gifts will be given to those that attend the parks across the province. Activities at each park will also be available during the day.
When you think about it, you'll realize winter camping and day trips outdoors are the best. Imagine finding animal tracks in the snow, being able to snowshoe down trails, then returning to a rustic log cabin for some hot cocoa and a warm, cozy fire. It sounds like something out of a movie, but it can totally be a reality!
If you needed a little bit of motivation to put on your winter outfit and get outside, there's no better incentive than the Sépaq Winter Day event.
This January 26, 2019 Sépaq is offering FREE admission to 14 national parks across Quebec. This means that park access as well as tons of activities are absolutely free for this day only!
And if that isn't enough, Sépaq will be giving a gift to each person that visits one of the national parks on this special day. Visiting any of the parks will land you a pass for one adult to visit any national park for free at a later date.
If you happen to check out Duchesnay or Camp Mercier on January 26, you'll be given a daily cross-country ski ticket for any of the eight cross-country centres on the Sépaq network.
Centre touristique du Lac-Simon visitors will also be given a day pass to visit the site again. Quantities of each gift vary, so you'll want to visit your selected park bright and early on the Sépaq Winter Day event!
