The Montreal SPCA Is Hosting A Free Adoption Fair Today
Make a new best friend this Friday.
There's always going to be a time in your life when you'll want to get a pet. Be it during your childhood, or even presently, you know that having a fur baby just seems right.
Science can back me up on this one. According to a study, owning a pet increases your chance of happiness. Why would you deprive yourself of that?
While there are many happy pet owners out there, sometimes, some sweet little critters are left at the SPCA. It happens too often, but what's great is that you can not only enrich your own life but the life of an innocent animal too!
Free adoption day at Montreal's SPCA is the perfect opportunity to find your new lifelong companion!
This Friday, June 21st, the Montreal SPCA located at 5215 rue Jean-Talon Ouest is hosting their annual free adoption day. All animals five months old or more will be free to adopt all day long.
With 82 cats, 12 dogs, 3 rabbits, and a myriad of other small animals, you're sure to find your next best friend.
Even if you're not ready for the big responsibility that a dog carries, you can always rescue this fuzzy dude named Clafoutis.
Adoption fees typically run between $125 to $300 dollars depending on the animal but are waived on this day only. If you're still hesitant about adopting an animal, there are SPCA professionals on hand to guide you through the process.
As part of the SPCA's commitment to finding a loving adoptive family for every animal, free adoption day is one of the most important days of the year for them. Show your support for the continuing welfare of animals and adopt!
Remember, to adopt an animal you still have to follow the adoption procedures. There will be staff to help you out, of course, but come prepared.
With the money saved, you can invest in care and treats for your new fur baby! There's no love like the love of a rescued animal.
Be sure to head down to the Montreal SPCA's free adoption day this Friday!
