Montreal Police are currently investigating "threatening comments" made in the Jean-Talon metro station.

Details are few, but this announcement comes at the same time that service on both the Blue and Orange lines have been shut down.

UPDATE: La Presse is reporting that it was a bomb threat that triggered the investigation.

UPDATE: service is resuming gradually on the Orange line.

Normal service is resuming on the Orange line, including Jean-Talon station. This, of course, suggests that the threat that triggered the police investigation has abated.

The SPVM has determined that the threat was not credible.
