Late Thursday night, a party at the Place Émile-Gamelin, the location for the ephemereal Jardins Gamelin, took a turn for the worse.\nA rowdy crowd shot allegedly shot off fireworks and sprayed pepper spray into the crowd at around 10 p.m. last night. Police were called to the scene, and were forced to evacuate the space.\nAccording to CBC News, some people in the crowd started a fight with the police.
