Environment Canada has issued an ongoing Rainfall Warning for the Southern Quebec region, including the Greater Montreal Area and many other regions listed below. The Rainfall Warning is in place due to the high risk of flooding in already vulnerable areas paired with 40mm of heavy rain that started this morning and is expected to continue into this evening. The government website also notes that localized flooding is possible in "low-lying areas" so citizens should keep an eye out for any worrisome water collection.
