A Wes Anderson Festival Is Coming To Montreal
It's time for some beautiful cinematogrophy.
Calling all film fanatics! A three-day Wes Anderson film festival is coming to Montreal this May. The festival, hosted by vintage shop "Le Marché Noir," will be held between May 15 and May 17.
This is a great opportunity to binge some beautiful movies like the classic Moonrise Kingdom and The Fantastic Mr. Fox, or the more recent Isle of Dogs.
TL;DR A Wes Anderson film festival is coming to Montreal for three days between May 15 and May 17. The entirety of Anderson's videography will be presented at the Marché Noir in the Village.
The festival will be taking place in mid-May at the Marché Noir, a vintage store in the village that sells clothes as well as a selection of items from independent retailers. They also run clothing swaps on occasion.
The Marché Noir has a gallery that they use to feature films and artists. The three day festival will be taking place there.
Anderson's entire videography will be shown during this time. I can't wait to see The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou and The Royal Tenenbaums.
Wes Anderson is such a wonderful and whimsical director, with awards to match. I'm super excited to delve into his world for three days and live out a spring Wes Anderson fantasy.
Time to pull out some pastel dresses and ecletic hats...
You can find the Marché Noir at 1358 Ontario Est, Montreal. The event takes place between 2:00 p.m. on May 15 and 9:00 p.m. on May 17.
