• The first-ever West Island SQDC location has finally opened its doors to customers.
  • The store is located in Pointe-Claire and is the first SQDC west of Montreal's Décarie.
  • Details, hours and full address below!

The newest Montreal SQDC location has officially opened its doors to much excitement from Montreal's West Islanders, who now have a location to call their own. The new West Island SQDC in Pointe-Claire is located in a strip mall on Boulevard des Sources at the corner of avenue Saint-Louis. It marks the first location west of Décarie and the second location west of Mount Royal, a position claimed first by the Queen Mary SQDC location.

This opening comes a couple weeks earlier than anticipated, another great piece of news for cannabis connoisseurs in the region.

When we spoke with SQSDC representative Fabrice Giguère in November of last year, he indicated the Pointe-Claire location would be openings its doors on March 31 of 2020.

So not only do West Islanders now have an SQDC of their own but it has come more than a month earlier than expected... (try and say that about your black market dealer).

The new store has taken over the old Bourbon Street West nightclub space, right next to Soupebol Noodles restaurant.

Take a look at the location, store hours and more details below.

The store officially opened on Monday, February 17, 2020 and is now open 7 days a week. Opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The location can be seen on the map above.

In addition to being quite close to the airport, the new Pointe-Claire SQDC is easily accessed by the STM's #209 bus as well as the #72 bus.

This new Pointe-Claire location marks the third SQDC opening in 2020, following the opening of a location in Lachute on January 22 and a location in Matane on January 27.

More locations are slated to open as the year continues, with the hope of having 40 stores open and available to the public by the end of March 2020.

Each new SQDC location is fully-stocked when opening, so head on down if you're in the area and need a fix... they're almost certain to have everything you need!
