This project was announced back in March, but now we finally know what it's going to look like.

The Caisse de Dépôt finally released new images of their light rail electric train system after being so secretive about it.

Their goal is to entice people into wanting to ride the new trains and to show the impact the stations will have on the landscape according to Journal de Montreal

24 train stations will be built in total during the first phase of the project. They will link the airport to the downtown core, the West-Island, the South Shore and Deux-Montagnes.

They will be elegantly designed with huge windows and interactive information screens. They'll also be equipped with elevators, escalators and of course, Wi-Fi.

The whole project is supposed to cost $5.5 billion. The work is set to begin in 2017 and it's supposed to be done by 2020.

Sounds pretty ambitious considering how most construction project go in this city. I'll believe it when I see it.
