Montreal's Hippodrome Being Transformed Into 5,000 Condo Units
Bye-bye, Blue Bonnets.
After sitting vacant for nearly 8 years, the city of Montreal will finally breathe new life into the Old Blue Bonnets building.
The Hippodrome first openned in 1907, but since 2009, it has been completely abandoned. If you would like to see the spooky photos of what the inside looks like, check out Urbex Plsyground.
But this summer, The Hippodrome will be torn down and replaced with 5,000 new condo units.
Construction is expected to begin in October and will last until 2023.
The city is also planning on finally completing the infamous Cavendish Extension
