Thousands of rubber duckies will be making their way to Montreal this August for Lakeshore Hospital's annual Duck Race. Not only is it in support of a good cause, but it's quite possibly one of the cutest things you'll see all year. For just $10 you can buy yourself a duck to enter in the race, which is an extremely affordable and fun way to support a community hospital. All of the proceeds will go towards the purchase of a gamma camera, which is used to scan the brain, thyroid, lungs, liver, gallbladder and kidneys to detect abnormalities, like cancers, which is a pretty important thing for a hospital to have. And of course, what would a race be without a few prizes being awarded to the winners - and the ones that are up for grabs at this race are pretty damn impressive. You'll have a chance to score a 7 day cruise to the Bahamas, a 2 night getaway to Muskoka, 5 $200 Tim Cards, and so much more. The race will be taking place on August 29, with festivities stretching from 11am to 5pm. Apart from the main race, there will also be carnival games, inflatables and food throughout the day, so it should make for a pretty fun time.
