Montreal's STM Orange Line Has Been Shut Down For An Emergency Evacuation
Here's what we know so far.
If you’re on the STM orange line this morning then chances are you're going to be late.
The STM announced a service disruption on the orange line. Here's what we know so far:
The sevice was interrupted between Lionel-Groulx and Berri-UQAM due to an intervention by emergency medical services.
Service was expected to return at 10:00am, and then it was pushed back to 10:30am, and according to the latest updates service expected to resume at 10:50am.

One of our staff members was at Lionel Groulx when it happened.
According to them, STM agents were evacuating the trains.
"They’re evacuating the Orange Line trains in the metro and there are officers everywhere at Lionel Groulx Station. I smell burnt rubber"

UPDATE: AS OF 10:56 AM, SERVICE IS GRADUALLY RESUMING
