Police Are Looking For A Man Who Keeps Setting Cars On Fire In Montreal
Let's see if you can find a pattern.
Montreal police are currently on the lookout for any information about whoever may be responsible for the string of car arsons that have happened this year. Since the beginning of 2018, there have been more than half a dozen car fires that they just have not been able to explain.
It absolutely baffles me how crazy and messed up people can be. The idea of coming out of my house to drive to work or to go for a late-night food run and seeing my car set ablaze is pretty terrifying.
And I'm sure the victims of these car fires felt just as afraid. Anything with fire is just downright scary.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been more than a few unfortunate incidients involving cars and fire. Not a month has gone by without it and I hope it doesn't become a pattern.
Here's a list of all the car fires in 2018:

In almost every case, the arson squads have determined that the fires were set on purpose. Freifighters were able to contain the flames, and no one was injured. The cars, however, were absolutely totalled. In some cases, they found evidence of gas tanks nearby.
At one scene, a witness says that they saw two people fleeing the scene, but that's all we have to go on. It's crazy! I don't know what's going on this year. Victims are cooperating with the police and everything! They just want to know what is going on.
As of yet, there is no proof that these car fires are all connected. So, it isn't even necessairily one person who is commiting these crimes. It could be several. They could be working together. They could be working on their own. We really just don't know! All we do know is that fires are being set all over the city and that it needs to stop.
Some of the fires are set in public parking lots and others in private driveways. So, criminals are coming right up to people's homes and setting their cars on fire. That doesn't really make me feel safe.
Police investigations are still in progress and I really hope that some information pops up before more fires start happening. No one has been hurt as of yet, but I definitely don't want to wait around and find out if someone will be.
