Needless to say, winter in Quebec is rough.\nTL;DR Quebec City's Carnaval De Quebec calls itself "the world's biggest winter carnival." It's a massive and free month-long festival that is made up of of dozens of smaller activities and events. This year, the 65th edition of Quebec's Winter Carnival will be held in Quebec City from February 8th-17th 2019.\nAt least we have the holidays throughout December to brighten our collective spirits.\nOnce January and February roll around, though, we are all fed up of the cold and snow.\nThat's when Quebec sprinkles some magic and rolls out some fantastic events, festivals, and activities to keep everyone's spirits up until spring.\nIn Montreal, we have the famous "Fetes Des Neiges" and Igloo Fest, for example, to keep us excited all winter long.\nOne mid-winter festival that should be at the top of your list is the Carnaval De Quebec.\nThe organizers have dubbed the event "the world's biggest winter carnival."
