One Quebec student has single-handedly given the province a whole mess of provincial-pride after being crowned the newest "Fittest Woman on Earth." Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, a 25 year old chemical engineering student at the University of Sherbrooke, earned the esteemed title on Sunday after crushing the competition at the 2014 Reebok CrossFit Games in California. Needless to say, this woman gets deezed like no other.
Originally a gymnast, Leblanc-Bazinet made the crossover to CrossFit 5 years ago, and never looked back. Over the last few years, Leblanc-Bazinet has built up her strength-game, making the 5-foot-2 and 130 pound woman a true fitness goddess.
To win the 2014 Reebok CrossFit Games, one has to be good at all events, as the title of champion is given to who performed best overall. Each year the events are different, andcombining strength, balance, and endurance. Luckily, Leblanc-Bazinet was ready for everything, and took home the proverbial gold.
You're probably thinking: "I could get that fit, easy." Maybe you could, but it'd take a helluva lot of determination and effort. Leblanc-Bazinet, in an interview with the National Post, outlined her fitness regimen, which adds up to 2-4 hours of training a day (or 6 if she's feeling it), six days out of the week. Most of us can barely get to the gym twice a week, so props to Leblanc-Bazinet, who truly earned her title of Fittest Woman on Earth.
