Quebec's Total COVID-19 Case Count Has Officially Surpassed 100k
Not exactly a milestone we wanted to reach...
As of Saturday, October 24 at 4 p.m., the province ofcases has surpassed the 100,000-mark.
With 879 new cases, the overall count is now officially 100,114.
Currently, there are 551 people in the hospital, with 97 people in intensive care as a result of the virus.

On Saturday, five deaths were related to COVID-19. This brings the total death count to 6,143.
Between Sunday, October 18 and Friday, October 23, an average of just under 24,000were administered each day, with the highest amount of tests given being on Wednesday, October 21, at 27,183.
remains the region with the highest number of cases with 40,869.
The region with the second-largest number of cases is Montérégie, with 14,657 since the beginning of the pandemic.
