P.K. Subban and Snoop Dogg will be taking part in a very special event during Grand Prix weekend.

Unfortunately they won't be racing each other, although that would have been pretty awesome. They will, however, be going head to head for a little charity basketball game.

Organised by Just For Laughs, it was actually Snoop who had suggested the idea to a Just For Laughs producer when they met at the NBA all-star game last February

Subban apparently thought it was a joke when he first received a call about this. After all, it's not everyday you get a call telling you Snoop Dogg wants to shoot some hoops with you. (Do people still say "shoot some hoops"?)

And this won't just be a 1-on-1 either. Both celebrities will be inviting 11 stars of their choice to join them on the court.

We can't wait to see who they pick.

The game takes place June 11 at the Verdun Auditorium. Tickets go on sale Wednesday May 11.
