For a solid two months we featured some awesome artwork from local Montreal artist LoogArt's image series "I ♥ Montreal," which highlight the most iconic aspects of Montreal's many neighborhoods.  Seems like the city followed suit, as you can now see these artistic odes to Montreal all around the city.

Created in collaboration with Monhood.com (where you can also buy prints) "I ♥ Montreal,"  is a series of stylistic skylines serving as an artistic ode to the many neighborhoods of Montreal, with each borough's defining features and architecture recreated onto a cartoon horizon.

Little Italy, the McGill Ghetto, and the Plateau are only a sample of the many 'hoods LoogArt remade for the image series.

You can see all of LoogArts illustrations on MTL Blog here, or you can see them in person at the following Montreal bus shelters:

  • des Sources / Roger-Pilon
  • Henri-Bourassa E / rue Laverdure
  • Maurice-Duplessis / Fernand-Gauthier
  • Côte-Ste-Catherine / Westbury
  • Jean-Talon E / Langelier
  • St-Denis / de Castelneau E

Have you seen I ♥ Montreal in person?
