Every couple of years someone makes a prediction about the end of the world.

Back in 2000 it was Y2K, in 2003 it was the rapture, then 2012 it was the Mayan calendar. And even though no one is ever right about this, the predictions just keep coming.

A man named David Meade has been claiming that world will be coming to an end for awhile now. And according to his latest prediction, the world will be coming to an end on April 23rd.

He and a lot of crazy people on the internet believe that a "death planet" called Planet X or Nibiru will crash into the earth destroy us all.

Via disclose

The prediction is based on numerology, bad science and on the bible passage: Isaiah, Chapter 13 9-10

See, the day of the Lord is coming
—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
to make the land desolate
and destroy the sinners within it.

The stars of heaven and their constellations
    will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light.

But don't worry too much, this is most definitely bullshit. In fact Meade's recently predicted the world would end in March, but when that didn't happen he switched the date to April 23rd.

And just in case you're still feeling nervous, NASA actually took the time to debunk the Planet X myth. However back in 1988 they released a paper claiming it did exist.
